The Ethiopian calendar is divided intotwelve months ofthirty days. The extra five days are placed at the end of the year and known as Pagumen. In the leapyear the extra day is added to these five days making the Pagumen of that year a period of six days. The last month of Pagumen is the thirteen month, which is peculiar to Ethiopia.
Wudassie Diagnostic Center dedicated the thirteen month to provide free CT scan and MRI services to the destitute who cannot afford to pay for their diagnostic services and who are referred from government hospitals.
PAGUMEN FOR HEALTH is a program that was initiated 7 years ago. Every year we welcome hundreds of patients from government hospitals.
